Behold The 3 Gorgeous Wives Of The New Oba Of Benin

His Royal Highness, Eheneden Erediauwa, was today, Thursday October 20, crowned the 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom succeeding his late father, Omo n’ Oba n’ Edo Uku Akpolopkolo.

The new Oba of Benin is married to three wives: Princess Iroghama ( Obazuaye N’erie), Princess Iyayiota ( Obazuwa N’erie) and Princess Ikpakpa (ohe N’erie).

Erediauwa is ascending the 836-year-old throne of his ancestors which is the oldest and one of the most revered in Nigeria. On March 30, the Oba of Benin inducted his three wives into the royal court of the Kingdom, following the conferment of traditional titles on them in Benin.

The first wife, Princess Iroghama, was named the Obazuaye N’Erie, the second wife, Princess Iyayiota, was named the Obazuwa N’Erie while the third wife, Princess Ikpakpa was named the Ohe N’Erie. The Obadagbonyi of Benin Kingdom, Chief Osagie Utetenegiabe, announced the titles to the ecstatic crowd after a colourful cultural display.
